I haven't really updated in a while and I know my DA journal has been in a state of pause for a while now.

I actually have intentions of putting all my regular information back up soon, I just haven't had time to sit down and redo the layout for my journal since my DA sub expired and I will be changing the images to something else. No biggie and shouldn't take me long, it's just finding the TIME.

What's really sad about my lack of art is that there are so many things that contribute to my slowness or generally the slowness of any artist. The reliance on inspiration, the lack of time, the frequent wrist/arm pain I have been suffering. What's really sad though is that out of those things, what really has made me the slowest lately is that I have a serious inability to tell myself to STOP sometimes. I actually had the time/inspiration/wrist ability to work on a big commission piece a few days ago. And I worked for four hours straight (which is a huge deal for me, I know other people can sit down for 7 hours and that's pretty usual for them - it totally is not for me though lol). But I only got the FACE done. I spent so much time doing and redoing certain parts that before I knew it, four hours had passed and I hadn't made half the progress I had intended on making.

I'm just sort of rambling here, but I think it's amusing that even when everything aligns itself just right in my life, I STILL don't get enough done lol.

Anyways, this is going to be a really busy late Spring/early Summer for me but I have plans for several pieces to be done during this time, including the one I'm working on now that has taken up a good chunk of time. I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the season!
